Diego Perez is a meditator, writer, and speaker who is most widely known on Instagram and various social media networks through his pen name Yung Pueblo.
The name Yung Pueblo means young people; it serves to remind him of his Ecuadorian roots, his experiences in activism, and that the collective of humanity is in the midst of important growth.
Diego's practice of Vipassana meditation, as taught by S.N. Goenka, has given him a deeper understanding of liberation that inspires his written work. Through writing and speaking he aims to support the healing of the individual, knowing that when people release their personal burdens it helps humanity build a global peace.
His first book “Inward” is set for release in Fall 2017. Through poems, quotes, and short essays he explores the reality of self healing, the movement from self love to unconditional love, and the wisdom that comes when we truly work toward knowing ourselves.
Diego studied at Wesleyan University and is currently living in New York City.
My question for you is, how do you know yourself? what's your process of uncovering who you are? I'd love to hear.

Kathleen supported me through her Call in your king program. (which feels vulnerable to share), but here goes! It really helped.
It made me believe love is possible. It helped me feel and understand my worthiness. It was a safe space to connect with lots of other amazing women who were also desiring a deep partnership. I learned a lot. I cried a lot. It was an important step for me in attracting my current partner.
I hope it's helpful to my lady listeners who desire partnership (although if you're a dude I think you'd get lots of benefit from listening too).
