Linda Sparrowe has a long and varied career in the holistic healing arena, with a special emphasis on yoga and women’s health. As the former editor-in-chief of Yoga International magazine and past managing editor of Yoga Journal, she has been called “a principal creative force and a defining voice for yoga in America.”
Linda has authored several books, including A Woman’s Book of Yoga and Health (with Patricia Walden); the award-winning Yoga At Home; Yoga Mama; and the coffee table book Yoga: A Yoga Journal Book. Her talks and practices appear on www.yogaanytime.com and YogaUOnline.com, as well as in audio and video interviews online. She is featured in the films Yoga Woman and What Is Real?, a film about Jivamukti Yoga.
A long-time yoga teacher from OM yoga/NYC, Linda co-leads the Courageous Women, Fearless Living retreats for women touched by cancer—her heart's work. She also leads workshops for yoga teachers on how to teach women who may be facing any number of challenges from body issues to anxiety or depression.
