Natalie is true healer (and she's also super kind and knowledgable!) Speaking to her opened my heart (and tear ducts) to understanding how deeply my family history effects me, and realizing how much trauma exists in my past. (Hello, my grandma lost her WHOLE family in the holocaust!).

She's as grounded and intellectual as much as she is whimsical and intuitive (my kind of gal!) She's a Health and Wellness Coach, Facilitator of healing, Teacher, Family Constellation Therapist, and Reiki Master.

Natalie urges us to look at and shine a light onto these past wounds. She says if we don't, there are perhaps unconscious ways we may be holding on to unresolved Trauma and holding ourselves back from living the life we REALLY want to live!

On this episode:

  • How Natalie healed her Bulimia through Family Constellation Therapy
  • How healing unresolved Trauma in our family constellation can help us break free
  • Daily practices we can do to live a kick ass life
  • Where family Constellation Therapy comes from and why it's so powerful
  • How healing your Mommy issues MAY be the key to living a more fulfilling life
  • Why our connection to our parents is so important and what to do about it if you DON'T connect with your parents

What is YOUR family constellation?  What part of your past do you need to shine a light on? If you'd be so brave, I'd love to hear about whatever you'd like to share, below.

Much love friends!

I met Valerie back in January, and felt her calm, compassionate energy right there and then! Valerie Green is a relationship coach.

She specializes in helping women
inspire their husband or boyfriend to deeper love and intimacy. She helps couples create a secure emotional CONNECTION; not just problem solving or communication skills. However if you aren't currently in a relationship you'll still learn a WHOLE lot from this podcast. I certainly did!

On this episode:
  • Learn the different attachment styles in relationships
  • How can we be honest about our needs in relationship but not be “needy”
  • Why our greatest fear in relationship is that we aren’t good enough on some level
  • Why being vulnerable and honest is our greatest strength in relationship
  • How to learn to re-parent ourselves
  • How to cultivate and understand healthy boundaries in relationships
  • Why needing to “control” things in relationships is just a safety mechanism

Valerie has a lot of amazing offerings! Check them out below. And of course- would love to hear- what's ONE take-away you had from this episode? Thanks for being here!

On this episode:
  • I take you through a 15 Minute Body Scan Meditation.
  • Many times when we're stressed it's because we are stuck in our heads and disconnected from our body and our physical world. Essentially, we're not present.
  • This meditation will help you reconnect with yourself and the present moment at hand, and hopefully ease any tension and anxiety you may be feeling.

If you have any questions, let me know. I'm always here to support you. Much love, and hope it's helpful!

Marc Patterson has quickly become one of my favorite men on the planet. Marc and I share a love for Buddhism and Meditation and recently went on a weeklong Meditation retreat together (along with 60 other humans) up in Vermont at an amazing center called Karme Choling. On this episode we delve into what meditating for a whole week is like.

Marc (aka Dawa Chöga) holds a BA in Creative Nonfiction and English Literature from the University of Southern New Hampshire. His short stories and essays have appeared in Words & Images (University of Southern Maine Press), and Haunted Maine (Macabre Maine Press), The Monadnock Conservancy Quarterly, and elsewhere.

He is a buddhist in the Tibetan/Shambhala lineage, a poetry writing dharma bum, a freelance writer, profuse traveler, avid outdoorsman, and voracious reader. He’s passionate about social activism, especially in the areas of education and the environment. Currently, Marc is crafting a series of essays under the working title “The Wilderness is Home” as well as completing a book of poetry, “Tangled Trees, Clear Mind.”

 We talk about:
  • What a weeklong Meditation retreat is like
  • Our intentions going into retreat (and what we actually got)
  • Why Meditation is a radical act
  • The "stuff" that comes up on retreat
  • What eating in silence with 60 other humans is like
  • Feeling interdependence on a fundamental level and why that's so healing
  • Experiencing craving, aversion, and neutral feelings
  • Why being gentle with ourselves is so helpful

Hope you enjoy! Do you have plans on going on a Meditation retreat? Would love to hear.
