I also reveal a new (weekly mini episode!) I'm going to do on the show starting this coming Monday! Have you worked with a shaman before? I'd love to hear your experience. If you want to learn more about Jacques go here.

Kimberly Brown is a woman I deeply admire. She's the executive director of the Interdependence Project (IDP) for short. It's is the only multi lineage secular Buddhist center in New York City committed to personal development and collective engagement through contemplative practice. I owe that place so much. It opened my eyes to buddhism and meditation, and living a sane and (fairly) happy and grounded life. No big deal! I also took a yearlong teacher training there to become a certified meditation teacher. That training was with the brilliant Ethan Nichtern (founder of IDP) and I highly recommend it! In this delightful episode Kim and I had a great time connecting on many things. She's grounded, deep, kind, and SO passionate about Buddhism and Meditation- it's inspiring. She has a background in psychotherapy and works with individuals, couples, and groups, and trains business leaders and teams to become more connected, kind, and resilient for themselves and others. Ladies, if you’re like me you HATE your period. It hurts like a mofo and you drown yourself in advil, chocolate, creamy foods, and Netflix (Gilmore Girls, anyone?). You also consider not going to work and sometimes even miss work because you’re in so much pain. It’s bad out there (or down there in our lovely lady parts- I should say!) Thankfully, there are women like Nicole. Shes dedicated to helping women fix their periods. Nicole and I met a few years ago. I was a guest Meditation teacher in a program she was running (that was fun Nicole!) and I saw her this summer at a mutual friend's wedding and knew I had to have her on the show. Nicole is a Certified Women’s Health + Functional Nutrition Coach. She's studied with incredible people and is currently enrolled in a 1-year training program with the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine. She really knows her stuff. I met Charmaine Haworth three years ago at the Trailblazers Retreat in Costa Rice. I felt slightly intimidated by her. She was radiant, kind, and confident in a way I hadn't witnessed before in a woman! Then I immediately softened when we started talking. Her vulnerability and kindness put me at ease, and I learned a lot from her by being around her. This podcast episode was no different. She's got warmth and presence and shared many insightful ideas with me. Personal, beautiful, REALLY moving stories about her life. And she gives us some incredible tips on how to overcome challenge. Charmaine is a Coach, Speaker and Healer. She works with Women AND Men all around the world helping them create the lives they really want and become the truest and most expressive version of themsleves.
