1:05:20 | View on iTunes Today’s guest is extra special! I’ve had an internet woman crush on Liyana Silver for the past few years and always felt such a connection to her and her work. When I saw (and jumped up and down) that she was coming out with a new book titled “feminine Genius” I knew I had to speak with her.
Liyana Silver is a torch-holder for a world-to-be in which feminine leadership flourishes and the epidemic of women self-haters has long become absurd. She teaches, coaches, speaks and writes, supporting success-minded women to wake up their body wisdom, turn on their feminine strength and live brilliant lives aligned with their true desires. Her (eyebrow-raising) work has been featured in the likes of Forbes, the Huffington Post and Jezebel. On the show we talk:
Did you like our conversation? With my whole heart I recommend this book! It is such a gift! Get it HERE. 0:45:30 | View on iTunes Here we are! The 50th Episode of the show. I'm so incredibly proud to be here. There's nothing that makes me happier than connecting to so many brilliant souls through this show and getting to share those conversations with others.
Thank YOU for listening. Thank you for being here. It feels like there's an unlimited amount of people I'd love to interview and connect with, and I'm not stopping anytime soon. This podcast party is just getting started! On the show:
Who do you want on the show? What's been your favorite episode so far? I'd love to know. 1:20:23 | View on iTunes Noah is someone I've been admiring for YEARS through his Podcast Synchronicity. (which is truly one of my favorite Spirituality podcasts EVER).
Noah's got a HUGE heart AND is also a bit of a genius. His way of bridging ancient spirituality and making it accessible and applicable to modern life is super needed in our world. -- So listen closely to this episode! When you don't know someone personally (You're a huge fan (ahem) and then you actually connect with them) it's a beautiful thing when they're even MORE awesome in person. I ended up taking an incredible course called Creative Evolution with him (VERY highly recommended) AND then joined the network of podcasts he co-founded (Mindpod network - which is a dream come true!). Walk talk:
What's your relationship with Creativity? I'd love to hear. Is there a project you've been trying to get done but haven't? His course May truly be what you need, my friends. 0:50:54 | View on iTunes Jeffrey Sargent is a former US Army Major and current Yoga therapist/teacher with 20 years of military service, including multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

When the world and the country were totally shocked. As a response the amazing Kim Stetz introduced me and a few of our teachers at our yoga studio to Arno's work- and had him speak to us about his past.
Arno is an ex-white supremacist. For years he walked around with hate (and fear) in his heart. He was the founding member of one of the largest racist skinhead organizations on the earth. Now, he leads an organization called Serve2Unite (their mission is to spread peace through the school system via compassion and creativity) wrote an amazing book called "My Life After Hate" and is an embodiment of love. Arno changed his whole life around. And his mission in life took a complete shift. (listen to episode and hear for yourself). How can someone who had brought about such hate turn his reality fully around? What can we learn from him? And ultimately, how can his unique view give us a lens into how we ourselves can plant seeds of kindness and love (amidst the very real) hatred that still exists in the world? Walk talk:

Not all the time, let's be real, but it's truly changed my everything. I use my body a lot. And it gets tired because of that. But we all get tired, and need deep states of relaxation. Luckily, this practice provides that. I feel it's got magical powers. But I'll let you decide if you feel that for yourself after you try it!

Shastri Nick Kranz is a new kindred spirit of mine and friend. Speaking with him on the podcast was a total joy and honor! Nick is super awesome. After 20 years of deep training in the practice of meditation, Nick has a profound belief in everyone’s potential to explore and benefit from the practice, and is devoted to guiding people along the path with friendliness and skill. Nick speaks in front of hundreds at universities, hospitals, businesses, and online. His humor and relaxation inspire people to come into the present moment and enjoy. (You'll see how this manifests on the podcast!) Nick was appointed Shastri by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche in 2013. He has developed an approach to cultural transformation in the practice of Social Meditation, and worked with Youth Leadership development in the Shambhala community for the last decade. He is interested in collaborative right livelihood, and relationships as path. On this episode:

Chemda is one of my new favorite humans. Hands down. This woman blows me away. Her heart is massive, her mind is brilliant, she's super funny, and her voice is angelic and mystical! She hosts the What’s My Name show, a themed talk show. She also co-hosts as ‘The Girl’ of Keith and The Girl (KATG), a daily, award-winning comedy talk show with comedian Keith Malley. Chemda’s first published book is What Do We Do Now. Chemda was a writer and singer for Conjure One which recently re-released an album on Vinyl. It's incredible. Check it out! On this episode:

Natalie is true healer (and she's also super kind and knowledgable!) Speaking to her opened my heart (and tear ducts) to understanding how deeply my family history effects me, and realizing how much trauma exists in my past. (Hello, my grandma lost her WHOLE family in the holocaust!). She's as grounded and intellectual as much as she is whimsical and intuitive (my kind of gal!) She's a Health and Wellness Coach, Facilitator of healing, Teacher, Family Constellation Therapist, and Reiki Master. Natalie urges us to look at and shine a light onto these past wounds. She says if we don't, there are perhaps unconscious ways we may be holding on to unresolved Trauma and holding ourselves back from living the life we REALLY want to live! On this episode:
What is YOUR family constellation? What part of your past do you need to shine a light on? If you'd be so brave, I'd love to hear about whatever you'd like to share, below. Much love friends! |
